Build URLs with UTM parameters to track your marketing campaigns in Google Analytics. Fill in the fields below to generate your tracking URL.
What are UTM Parameters?
UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) parameters are tags you add to URLs to track the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns in Google Analytics. They help you identify which sources, mediums, and campaigns are driving traffic to your website.
Required Parameters
- utm_source: Identifies the referrer (e.g., 'google', 'newsletter', 'facebook')
- utm_medium: Specifies the marketing medium (e.g., 'cpc', 'email', 'social')
- utm_campaign: Names the specific campaign (e.g., 'spring_sale', 'product_launch')
Optional Parameters
- utm_term: Used for paid search to note the keywords for the ad
- utm_content: Differentiates ads or links that point to the same URL (useful for A/B testing)
